Our beautiful beach

Marco Island is one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited. Recently I took my camera to take some photos of popular places on the island for visitors. I am always looking for scenes to paint and ones that include the water and palms and beautiful vegetation always interest me. One doesn’t have to look very hard to find these places, and when the sun is shining they are so lovely and inspiring.

There are several webcams at different places at the beach that one can find to enjoy these beautiful scenes, even when you happen to be up north and need a little inspiration. I remember all too clearly the years that I was in Ohio, going to work every day, shivering from the cold and thinking about how nice it would be to be in Florida, enjoying the sunshine instead of driving to work through the snow and ice. I would have loved to be able to click on a webcam on Marco to see the beautiful beach and sunshine. Some of these webcam sites include: www.marcoislandflorida.com, www.marcosun.com, and www.marconews.com. They are fun to look at, watch the sun come up and just enjoy the beach scenes.

After living in Ohio for many years, I never take the warm sunny weather of Marco for granted. I hope that you are able to enjoy a warm winter; that is, unless you love the snow and the cold. Our son-in-law loves the weather in PA because he loves to snowmobile and enjoys cool temperatures. Everyone has their favorite place. Mine is warm and sunny and beautiful Marco Island.
